The farm uses a sustainable farming method called Aquaponics which combines traditional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals - in our case, fish - in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. All produce is grown naturally using standard organic practices.

Eat Your Yard Jax, founded on the principles of sustainable agriculture and community engagement, seeks to bridge the gap between modern society and our natural roots. With an emphasis on organic farming, permaculture, and horticulture therapy, this nonprofit farm is committed to connecting people to the land in ways that nourish not only the body but also the soul.
Our tours include Permaculture, Aquaculture, Vermiculture, Hügelkultur, and more – a touch-and-smell odyssey. ($10.00 per person)
